RCMP Investigating Thefts Of Tires And Rims In Cole Harbour

From RCMP: Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Halifax District are investigating two separate incidents involving the theft of tires and rims in Westphal and Cole Harbour, NS.

Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Halifax District are investigating two separate incidents involving the theft of tires and rims in Westphal and Cole Harbour, NS.

Between July 5, 2010 and August 23, 2010, there have been two reported cases of tires and rims being stolen while the vehicles are parked at the owner's home.  In both cases, the tires and rims were removed from the vehicles involved.  The thieves appear to be targeting high-end aftermarket parts.  In total, four sets of rims and tires were stolen valued at about $33,000.
