RCMP are currently on the scene of a two vehicle motor vehicle collision in Old Barns.

At 8:50 a.m. this morning, RCMP, EHS paramedics and fire services responded to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision on Highway 236.

A woman was transported to Colchester Regional Hospital with unknown injuries after she was extricated from the car she had been driving. The male driver of the other car involved was also transported to Colchester Regional Hospital with unknown injuries.

Highway 236 is closed at this time while an RCMP collision analyst is assisting with the investigation. Motorists are being asked to avoid this area at this time.
