RCMP presence during the lobster season

Halifax District RCMP would like to wish all the lobster fishers of LFA 32 a safe and fruitful season.

To help ensure everyone’s safety and a successful season, the RCMP will be conducting proactive patrols with a visible police presence on the water from the start of the season to the end.

The members will be visiting local wharfs and conducting vessel inspections on a daily basis, responding to calls for policing services that are fishing related and enforcing all Criminal Code and Transport Canada small vessel infractions as they occur.

Building a partnership with the fishing communities and ensuring everyone safety is a priority for the RCMP.

Have a great season.
