RCMP recovers stolen boats and snowmobile

Halifax District RCMP has recovered three boats and a snowmobile that were reported stolen this fall.

On January 25, police responded to​ a call about​ two zodiac boats found near the St. Margaret’s Bay Rails to Trails trail in Head of St. Margarets Bay. Both boats were reported stolen in October 2019.

Also on January 25, police recovered a snowmobile reported stolen in November 2019 after it was involved in a collision on Prospect Rd. in Hatchet Lake.

An additional boat was recovered on January 26 at a home on Lower Prospect Rd. in Terence Bay. It was reported stolen in November 2019.

Arrangements have been made to return the items to their owners.

The investigations are ongoing.
