RCMP release man’s name, Inverness County, N.S.

RCMP are releasing the name of the man found deceased in the Margaree River Monday evening near Portree.

On Monday evening, RCMP received a report of a missing man last seen fishing at 3:00 p.m.

Police, along with local fire departments and Ground Search and Rescue teams conducted a search and found Mr. George Arthur CLOW, a 70-year-old man from Sherbrooke, PEI in the Margaree River deceased.

The matter remains under investigation.
