RCMP remind motorists of Springtime road hazards

RCMP remind motorists of Springtime road hazards Now that spring has sprung, the Nova Scotia RCMP are advising motorists to keep road safety in mind as they travel on Nova Scotia roadways this time of year.

Spring may be in the air but the RCMP remind motorists that the potential for freezing road conditions during the evening and early morning hours still exists. Spring can also bring sudden heavy rains and if you get caught in a sudden down pour, do not use your cruise control. This will help reduce the chances of hydroplaning with the sudden build up of water on the roads.

Please drive safe and do your part to keep all Nova Scotian roadways safe.
