RCMP reminding​ public​ to lock up vehicles and keep valuables out of sight​

Halifax District RCMP is reminding people​ to lock up​ vehicles and keep valuables out of sight​ after multiple thefts were reported over the weekend.

RCMP received three reports of thefts from vehicles parked at homes on Bryanston Rd. in Lucasville. Four unlocked vehicles were broken into and several items were stolen,​ including: a grey/black backpack, a wallet, a black/grey Eddie Bauer gym bag, Asics running shoes, headphones, cash, gift cards, essential oils, sunglasses and safety glasses. The thefts happened sometime overnight​ between November 23 and 24.

Between​ 6 a.m. on November 23 and November 24, a truck parked in a parking lot on Pratt and Whitney Dr. in Goffs was broken into. The suspect(s) broke the passenger side window and stole work clothing and tools.​

Five other thefts​ were reported​ from vehicles parked at a home on Patton Rd. in Upper Sackville. The suspect(s) stole change from inside the vehicles.​
