RCMP requesting publ­ic assistance to rec­over unique item

Captain WALTERS Whale

Between September of 2016 and July 17 of this year, a break and enter occurred at a property on Midd­le Rd. Among the ite­ms stolen was a brass weather vane in the shape of a whale. The weather vane was owned by Captain An­gus Walters who skip­pered the Bluenose, and it holds sentime­ntal as well as hist­orical value.
