Update: Shirley Elizabeth Steele, who has been missing since October 24, has been located and is safe.

Lunenburg District RCMP is asking for public assistance to locate a missing woman from LaHave.
Seventy-year-old Shirley Elizabeth Steele was last seen around October 24 and was reported missing on November 16. She told family that she intended to travel by train from Nova Scotia to Quebec.
Steele is described as Caucasian, approximately five-foot-six and 184 pounds. She has chin-length hair that is dyed red and is normally styled in a bob. She has brown eyes and does not normally wear eyewear.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Steele is asked to contact Lunenburg District RCMP at 902-634-8674 or 1-800-803-RCMP (7267).
