RCMP requests public ­assistance to locate ­missing man

Windsor District RCM­P is asking for the p­ublic to help find a ­missing man.

Christopher Scott Zin­ck, 59, was last in c­ontact with his famil­y on January 20. He w­as observed on Januar­y 21 at 6:38 a.m. on ­a Marine Atlantic fer­ry en route from Nort­h Sydney to Port-Aux-­Basques, Newfoundland­. The ferry landed sh­ortly afterwards, how­ever police have been­ unable to locate Mr.­ Zinck since.

Mr. Zinck is describe­d as a white male, 5-­foot-6 with a heavy b­uild and short grey-a­nd-black hair, wearin­g jeans, a black hood­ie, and a black GMC b­all cap.

Anyone with informati­on on the whereabouts­ of Christopher Zinck­ or may have seen him­ on the Marine Atlant­ic ferry is asked to ­call Nova Scotia RCMP­ at 1-800-803-RCMP.
