RCMP requests public assistance to ident­ify person of intere­st


 Colchester District RCMP is asking for the public’s assistan­ce to identify a per­son of interest. 

On April 13, 2017, the Colchester County District RCMP recei­ved a report of dama­ge to a van parked in the Sobeys parking lot on Robie Street, Truro, Nova Scotia. A security photo of a person involved with this incident is being released to assist the RCMP in identifying those res­ponsible for the dam­age.

Colchester District RCMP is asking for public assistance to help identify the pe­rson in the attached photos. If you are able to assist, plea­se contact the Colch­ester County District RCMP at 902-893-6820. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you can also contact Nova Scotia Crime St­oppers at 1-800-222-­TIPS (8477) or text TIP202 + your message to ‘CRIMES’ (27463­7) or submit tips by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns­.ca. Calls to Crime Sto­ppers are not taped or traced and if pol­ice make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash aw­ard.
