RCMP requests publics help in stolen car investigation, West Arichat, N.S.

Arichat RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in a stolen vehicle and mischief investigation.

On February 3, 2016, Arichat RCMP received a complaint of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle, a 2002 red Hyundai Sonata, was stolen from the carpool parking lot on Highway 206 in West Arichat. On February 6, 2016, the vehicle was located on a trail near Lake Rd. in West Arichat. The vehicle had been badly damaged.

The RCMP is asking anyone with information to please call your local RCMP detachment, or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS ( 8477), or text TIP202 + your message to ‘CRIMES’ (274637) or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash award.
