RCMP respond to ATV crash, Pictou County, N.S.

Pictou RCMP responded to an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) crash that sent passenger to hospital. At approximately 1:10 p.m. this afternoon, Pictou RCMP with assistance from local fire departments, responded to an ATV crash near the community of Baileys Brook.

At approximately 1:10 p.m. this afternoon, Pictou RCMP with assistance from local fire departments, responded to an ATV crash near the community of Baileys Brook.

An ATV side-by-side, rolled while being driven up a steep grade, causing the driver to be ejected and the passenger seriously injured.

The driver, a 43-year-old man, was treated for injuries at the scene by EHS paramedics, while the passenger, a 45-year-old woman was transported to hospital in Halifax by LifeFlight. Both the driver and passenger are from New Glasgow.
