Sackville RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision on highway 102.
At approximately 1:00 p.m. this afternoon, Sackville RCMP officers responded to a motor vehicle collision that resulted in one vehicle on its side.
An Infinity sedan was travelling outbound on highway 102 near exit 4 when it was rear-ended by a Ford Bronco. The infinity lost control, crashed into a snowbank and landed on its side.
The initial investigation has determined that a vehicle travelling in front of the Infinity had come to a stop as a pick-up truck towing a flatbed was attempting to merge onto the highway.
The driver of the Infinity, a 47-year-old woman from Beaver Bank was transported to Cobequid Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Ford Bronco, a 52-year-old man from Mount Uniacke was not injured.
The highway was down to one lane for a period of time but has since be re-opened.
The investigation continues.
