RCMP respond to single vehicle roll-over, Balls Creek, N.S.

RCMP is currently on the scene of a single vehicle roll-over near Balls Creek, Nova Scotia.

At approximately 8:15 a.m. this morning, Cape Breton Integrated Traffic Services responded to a report that a Ford F-150 had left the road on Highway 125 near Exit 3 and had over-turned in the ditch.

The 79-year-old male driver and 78-year-old female passenger, both of North River, were transported to Cape Breton Regional Hospital. The driver sustained life-threatening injuries and the passenger sustained non life-threatening injuries.

An RCMP collision analyst will be assisting with the investigation as it continues.
