RCMP responded to a head on collision- Highway 12 Murphy Lake, Murphy Lake, N.S.

Kings District and Valley Traffic Services RCMP responded to a head on collision between two pickups near Murphy Lake, Kings County on Highway 12.

Both male drivers, who were lone occupants, were removed following the collision and transported to hospital via Emergency Health Services.

Both drivers (Berwick resident age 43, and Kentville resident 34) sustained non life-threatening injuries. One driver (Berwick resident) was transported via life flight to Halifax, out of precaution. Slippery road conditions are believed to be a factor in this collision.

The Kings District RCMP are investigating.
