RCMP seek assistance locating Missing Man, Port Medway, N.S.

RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing man from the Port Medway area. On September 4th, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Queens County RCMP received a report of a missing man who was last seen going into the woods last evening at approximately 6:15 p.m.

RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing man from the Port Medway area.

On September 4th, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Queens County RCMP received a report of a missing man who was last seen going into the woods last evening at approximately 6:15 p.m.

RCMP conducted numerous inquiries with area residences and businesses but have not been able to locate the missing man.

Christopher Mark Cook, 47, from the Bridgewater area, is described as a white male, 5’1′, 130 pounds, blonde balding hair with goatee. He was last seen wearing a grey Old Navy sweat shirt and blue jeans.

Today, the Dept. of Natural Resources, Dept. of Fisheries and Oceans and the RCMP Police Dog Services are continuing the search. Police and Mr Cook’s family are very concerned about his safety and are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the Queens Detachment of the RCMP at (902) 354-5721.
