RCMP seek public assistance with locating suspicious male

Shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon, Halifax District RCMP responded to a complaint of a suspicious male on Lake Thomas Cres. in Fall River.

The male was walking through properties in the area and when approached by residents he was unresponsive to their questions. He was last seen walking in to a wooded area on Lake Thomas Cres.

RCMP are concerned for his well-being as he appeared to be disoriented and unresponsive when approached by residents. As a result, RCMP, Halifax Search and Rescue, and RCMP Police Dog Services, have been searching the wooded area around Lake Thomas Cres.

The male has not been located and the search has been suspended due to darkness and will resume in the morning.

He is described as a black male, approximately 30-years-old, shaved head, 5’5”, 150 lbs, and wearing a grey hoodie and black pants. He was also noted as carrying food items and a stick.
