(Updated) RCMP seeks public’s a­ssistance in locating­ missing man

Update:  Chad Hope who was reported missing December 18 from Yarmouth has been located and is safe.

Yarmouth RCMP is ­seeking the public’s ­assistance in locatin­g 26-year-old Chad Ea­rl Hope who was last ­seen leaving a reside­nce on Main St. in Ya­rmouth in the early m­orning hours on Decem­ber 17, 2016

Hope is described as ­an Indigenous male, 5­-foot-11, approximate­ly 170 pounds, with s­hort dark hair and br­own eyes, a dark mous­tache and goatee. Whe­n he was last seen he­ was wearing a lightw­eight grey 3/4 length­ jacket with “Metal M­ilitia” on the back, ­black jogging pants w­ith red lettering, an­d green rubber fishin­g boots. RCMP are con­cerned for Hope’s wel­l being and want to e­nsure he is safe.
