At approximately 7:45 a.m. yesterday, RCMP Halifax Metro Traffic Services stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway 101 in Middle Sackville. Further investigation determined that the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, a 20-year-old man from Windsor, was in possession of cocaine, marihuana and brass knuckles.

The man is facing two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. He has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on November 25, 2015.

The investigation is continuing.
