RCMP charge man after a search in Bridgetown. On March 27th, at approximately 6 p.m., Annapolis District RCMP, assisted by the Annapolis County Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Court Street.

On March 27th, at approximately 6 p.m., Annapolis District RCMP, assisted by the Annapolis County Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Court Street.

During the search, police seized 4400 illegal cigarettes, cash and other items related to the sale and distribution of illegal tobacco.

A 45-year-old male from Bridgetown was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Kentville Provincial Court in June to face charges under the Federal Excise Act and the Provincial Revenue Act.
