RCMP seize oxycodone and charge Eskasoni men, Eskasoni, N.S.

Eskasoni RCMP have charged two men with drug offences following a vehicle stop. At approximately 11:15 p.m. last evening, Eskasoni RCMP conducted a vehicle stop at the intersection of highway 223 and 216 in Christmas Island and seized a quantity of Oxycodone from the vehicle.

At approximately 11:15 p.m. last evening, Eskasoni RCMP conducted a vehicle stop at the intersection of highway 223 and 216 in Christmas Island and seized a quantity of Oxycodone from the vehicle.

Two occupants in the vehicle were arrested under the controlled drugs and substances act and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance.

Alwyn Jay Simon and Wade Lawrence Gould, both of Eskasoni, will be appearing in Sydney Provincial Court on November 10th, 2014. Wade Lawrence Gould is also facing charges of Resisting Arrest.
