RCMP release:
Eskasoni RCMP has charged a man for drug trafficking offences after executing a search warrant in Eskasoni.
On July 16, the Eskasoni RCMP General Investigative Section, assisted by Eskasoni RCMP general duty officers, executed a search warrant at a residence on Richard Ave. as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking. Officers safely arrested a man and seized a quantity of narcotic prescription pills and cash.
Keith Geoffrey Denny, 38, of Eskasoni has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (three counts) and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
Denny appeared in Sydney Provincial Court on July 17 and was remanded into custody. His next appearance is scheduled for July 22.
