RCMP have taken Mark Baltzer into custody.

Mark Baltzer, 58, was reported missing to police at 8:20 p.m. last evening from the East Coast Forensic Hospital in Halifax. At approximately 3:20 p.m.

today, RCMP were able to locate Mark Baltzer’s vehicle at a residence on New Brittain Road in Five Islands. RCMP members from both Cumberland and Colchester Counties set up a perimeter and when Mr. Baltzer came out of the residence, he was arrested without incident.

Mr. Baltzer is being transported back to the Halifax East Coast Forensic Hospital.
