RCMP To Host Community Consultations

Halifax District RCMP, with assistance from the Halifax Regional Board of Police Commissioners, will be hosting a series of community consultation sessions throughout the District in April.

‎The purpose of the sessions is to give citizens, local councillors and government representatives the opportunity to discuss a variety of community concerns in an open forum, with the goal of assisting the Halifax District RCMP determine policing priorities for 2016/2017. “We want to hear directly from the citizens we serve because local priorities are important to us” said Superintendent Dennis Daley, acting Officer in Charge of Halifax District RCMP.

Each session will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Details about each session can be found below. Follow the RCMP in Nova Scotia on Facebook (www.facebook.com/rcmpns) and Twitter (@rcmpns) for reminders about each session.
