RCMP Warn Of Moose Sighting In HRM

2011-09-20 1900hrs HRM resident reported seeing a large bull moose along the 103 hwy, near Timberlea at exit 3. Motorists are advised that especially at this time of the year (mating season) Moose are more mobile and likely to be moving across highways. They should be diligent while driving especially during foggy conditions.

(Deer are more active during November and the same care should be exercised during that month)
