The Nova Scotia RCMP Yarmouth Town Detachment is moving to a new location.

Until the new detachments opens on Nov. 5, 2015, Yarmouth Town Detachment staff will work out of the Yarmouth Rural Detachment at 156 Starrs Road, Yarmouth.

During this time, the non-emergency phone number will be 902-742-9106 and normal services will be offered out of the Yarmouth Rural Detachment. 911 emergency service will not be interrupted.

‘We are looking forward to serving our community at the new location,’ said Staff Sergeant Michel Lacroix. ‘The newly-renovated space will allow us to continue to provide excellent service to the people of Yarmouth.’

The new Yarmouth Town Detachment will be located at 233 Water St., Yarmouth, B5A 1M1. When the new Yarmouth Town Detachment opens, the non-emergency phone number will return to (902) 742-8777.
