Real Shoppers Shop at Shoppers Drug Mart

My first job was at Shoppers Drug Mart. I was a certified beauty advisor, true story! I loved working at Shoppers and stayed there through high school and university working at several different locations.

Unfortunately for my university fund, most of my pay cheque would go toward the latest products… I just HAD to try everything. I still get that feeling when I walk into a Shoppers store.

Don’t even get me started about their sales. When I was on the cash register and people were coming through with toilet paper galore, then I NEEDED to buy the toilet paper JUST BECAUSE IT WAS ON SALE. I didn’t even have my own place then… I just got caught up in all the excitement of a sale. And I still do… so I’m excited about December as it’s a big month for Shoppers Drug Mart. From now throughout December, there will be exciting in‐store sales and promotions. The holidays were always a favourite time for me when I worked at Shoppers Drug Mart. It was crazy busy but I loved it. The store would be filled with gift packs and, subsequently, men wandering around the store with that panicked look in their eyes. You know the look, it is most often seen on Christmas Eve when HE has no clue what to get his wife/partner for Christmas.
