Rebelicious!

This post is a bit late getting up because my laptop is acting up again and I’m using our main PC which hubby doesn’t like to relinquish often. 😉 Remember when I spilled water on the laptop a while ago? While the keyboard is doing all kinds of weird stuff like pressing control, function or opening the start menu automatically. I had enough and ordered a new keyboard last night. Should be here next week!

Speaking of stuff that I ordered, I present my latest toy – a Canon EOS Rebel T1i.

Yup, I caved and finally got on the Rebel-bandwagon!! I ordered a bundle that came the EF-S 18-55mm lens and a 8g memory card. I now have my eye on the EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens but will hold off ordering it until I learn how to use the camera. 🙂 I’ve been looking at photography classes and both Henry’s and Carsand Mosher’s offer them. Should be a fun fall class.

Now she just needs a name. Someone suggested MariLynn Monroe, which I thought was really cute. Considering my love for Miss Monroe! 🙂 Plus the play on my name. What do you guys think, does she look like a MariLynn?

I played around for a few hours last night but honestly, I have no idea what I’m doing. 🙂 I’m excited to spend the weekend getting to know the functions better.

Sort of sad that I have to go to work this morning and I can’t stay home taking pictures. 🙂
