also CheeseCurds is looking to open in Burnside by the end of the year.

Grafton-Connor group has acquired Redwood Grill on Lacewood adding to their mini empire of Tru North Diner, Brewsters. Kempsters, Sunnyside and Sunnyside too, Esquire, Five Fisherman, Grafton St. Dinner theatre, Riverside Pub, Tomorrows Lounge (Bridgewater), Cheers, Taboo, The Dome and local Pizza Pizza franchises. – AllNS
Macleans had an article saying Tilted Kilt link is looking to expand to Halifax, Think Sottish themed Hooters, Halifax isn’t a chain pub kinda place.
Pink by Victoria Secret will also be adding to the stable in Halifax Shopping Centre in addition to the Victoria Secret store already announced as HSC continues it’s change.
Little Burgundy will be replacing Locale Shoes in HSC both stores are owned by ALDO
Wheaton’s will be going in Dartmouth Crossing who is getting quite a collection of home stores, with Pier 1 and Stokes recently opening and Barnes & Castle on it’s way. Seems to me Winners should consider moving Homesense at Mic Mac to the area.
On the heels of OpenCity, FID continues the tradtion of backdoor Pad Thai and now the folks at Brooklyn Warehouse are permanently opening a location of their Pop Up burger joint, Ace Burger Company, in Halifax’s North End.
Speaking of OpenCity, CityHarvest is expected to go down the last weekend of October same idea but Autumn themed, and will great opportunity to show the bounty of our farms.
