Meteghan RCMP is investigating three break-and-enters in Digby and Yarmouth counties.
On December 11, at approximately 4 a.m., RCMP officers responded to a break-and-enter at a gas station in Meteghan. A man broke a glass door and stole several packs of cigarettes before leaving the scene on a red all-terrain vehicle (ATV).
On December 12, at approximately 2 a.m., Yarmouth Rural RCMP were dispatched to a break-and-enter at a grocery store in Dayton. A man broke a window and stole a quantity of cigarettes. He left the scene on a red ATV.
On January 7, at approximately 2:45 a.m., Meteghan RCMP responded to a break-and-enter at a hardware shop in Meteghan. A male broke the back door and stole a generator and boxes of tools. He was wearing a black mask and gloves and was riding a yellow ATV.
The investigations into these break-and-enters are ongoing.
