On Friday night, the Red Knights Motorcycle Club, whose members are firefighters, led a motorcycle ride to honour the firefighters who died in the 9/11 attacks in New York City eight years ago. The first annual 9/11 memorial ride, which was open to all riders, started in the parking lot of the Bedford Place Mall (pictured) and travelled through Halifax.
