Report Shows Social Responsibility, Updates Nova Scotians

The Nova Scotia Provincial Lotteries and Casino Corporation released its 2012-13 Community Report today, Sept. 30, reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility.

The report provides Nova Scotians with an update in five areas as outlined in its Social Responsibility Charter.

“Social responsibility is integrated into everything we do and we are proud of the role we play in ensuring a socially responsible gaming industry in the province,” said corporation acting president and CEO, Bob MacKinnon. “We take our responsibilities very seriously, and this report shows Nova Scotians that we are meeting our obligations.”

The report outlines the status and results of the five pillars established under the corporation’s Social Responsibility Charter:
— responsible gambling
— integrity and security
— citizens and communities
— corporate governance
— stakeholder relationships
