Rescheduled dates for Accessibility Bill at Law Amendments Committee


The rescheduled Law Amendments Committee sessions on Bill 59, the Accessibility Act, will be held on Thursday, March 2, from 1-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and on Friday, March 3, from 9-11 a.m. at Province House, 1726 Hollis St., Halifax.

American Sign Language interpreters, sighted guides and Communication Access Realtime Translation will be available at the sessions.

Those who were already registered to present to the Law Amendments Committee will be contacted by Legislative Counsel Office staff to reschedule their presentation.

Those interested in presenting on Bill 59 at Province House should contact the Legislative Counsel Office at 902-424-8941 or Legc.office@novascotia.ca. Those wishing to submit written or video presentations can send them by email.

Nova Scotians will also have the opportunity to present by video conference to the Law Amendments Committee on Bill 59 on Friday, March 3, from 9-11 a.m. Details about the video-conferencing option will follow.
