Resident Scuffles With Home Invaders, Suffers Knife Wound

Two males entered an unlocked door at a residence in the 1600 block of Walnut Street last night at 5:50pm and demanded electronics.

 

From Halifax Police:

 

“Upon arrival police learned that two males entered through the unlocked door and once inside, each produced a knife and demanded the electronics.  The residents refused to turn over the items and a struggle ensued with one of the residents sustaining a superficial cut to his hand.   The residents then called the police and chased the suspects down Walnut Street.  Patrol and K9 attended the scene but were unable to locate the suspects.  Nothing was taken in the robbery and there were not other injuries.

The suspects are described as :

#1 Black male, 16-17 years of age, wearing a black jacket with fur on the hood , his face covered with a bandana.  Shaved head, no facial hair approximately 5’10.

#2 Black male, 16 years of age, wearing a black jacket  and carrying a blue kit bag.  Shaved head, no  facial hair,  approximately 5’11.

The matter remains under investigation”
