Residents discover unknown man in their home, police make an arrest

Police have charged a man in relation to being unlawfully in a residence in Halifax this weekend.

At approximately 9:35 p.m. on March 25, police were called to a residence on Bauer Street where the residents found a man inside their home. It is believed the man entered the residence while they were in the home. The man left the residence when confronted by the homeowners.

The suspect was arrested a few minutes later in the area without further incident.

Arthur Charles Neish, 51, is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court today to face one count of being unlawfully in a dwelling house.
