Residents from Cogswell to Duke: Water to be shut off temporarily

Halifax Water crews will be shutting off water services for residents in the area of Hollis Street, from the Cogswell Interchange to Duke Street. Water will be shut off on Monday, August 8th and Tuesday, August 9th, from 9:00 AM until approximately 9:00 PM.

To ensure that you have water during this period, please fill any containers you may have so that you will have sufficient water for drinking and cooking during this period.

Also please turn off your hot water tanks during this time period to protect the heating element.

Once water services are restored, please run your cold water tap to clear any discolored water that may occur. More information on what to do if your water is discoloured can be found at: www.halifaxwater.ca/discoloured-water.

We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure repair work may cause.
