Residents invited to grand opening of North Preston Community Centre Basketball Court
Residents are invited to the grand opening of the North Preston Community Centre Basketball Court this Saturday, July 20 in North Preston.
The opening, which will coincide with the annual North Preston Days event will feature planned activities including exhibition games, a t-shirt giveaway and refreshments. Representatives from McDonalds Canada, the Halifax Regional Municipality, and the Government of Canada will be providing remarks, along with Shaquille Smith who spearheaded the community-based effort to establish the new basketball court.
Grand Opening Event:
When: Saturday, July 20 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Where: 44 Simmonds Road, North Preston
