Due to the storm, the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation retail stores in the northeastern part of the province are closed until at least 1 p.m. today, Jan. 27.
The affected areas are Cumberland, Colchester, Pictou and Guysborough counties.
Stores in the rest of the province will remain open until further notice, but may close early if the storm continues. Isolated closures are also expected, and customers are advised to call ahead.
