Thursday, June 8, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Ridding Road in Eastern Passage will be closed today and tomorrow between Esh Lane and Shore Road.
The road closure is required to facilitate installation of water and sanitary services for a new dwelling at 177 Ridding Rd.
Crews will be on site each day from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. There may be work tonight after 6 p.m., but it will cease at 9:30 p.m. due to the municipal noise bylaw.
Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists around the worksite, as needed. All local residents of Ridding Road will have continuous access throughout closure.
Motorists may experience delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes, if possible.
