Rink ‘D’ at BMO Centre reopens to the public

Thursday, April 2, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that snow removal work on the roof of Rink ‘D’ at BMO Centre is almost complete and the rink is once again open to the public.
Arena ‘D’ had been closed since last Tuesday (March 24) as a precaution while frozen snow and ice were removed from the roof and leak issues were addressed. Building maintenance staff were on site yesterday for another structural assessment, which confirmed Arena ‘D’ is safe to reopen.
The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience this closure may have caused and thanks residents for their patience. For more information about BMO Centre, please visit www.bmocentrehalifax.com/.
