Road closure / Hants East​ County​ RCMP Dangerous Driving

Hants East (Enfield)​ RCMP would like to advise the public there is a road closure on highway 14 near Upper Nine Mile River until further notice.

Police are conducting an investigation after​ received a report of a dangerous driver. Police encountered the vehicle and the driver failed to stop. Police engaged in a pursuit which came to an end with the suspect vehicle leaving the roadway at the noted location.

The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle is in police custody and was taken to Colchester Hospital as a precaution to be examined. The matter is under investigation.
