Friday, Aug. 22, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a couple of downtown Halifax streets will be closed early next week to accommodate the installation of municipal water services to buildings in the area.

Starting at 7 a.m.

on Monday, Aug. 25, Market Street between Sackville and Blowers streets, and Blowers Street between Market and Grafton streets will be closed with access for local traffic only. Both streets will reopen at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27.

The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience these closures may cause.
