Friday, June 26, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a number of streets in downtown Dartmouth will be closed this weekend for the Subaru EPIC Dartmouth 5K, 10K, triathlon and Iron Man competitions.
Starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, Hawthorne Street between Prince Albert Road and Crichton Avenue, and Prince Albert from Hawthorne to Sinclair Street will be closed to vehicles for the 5K and 10K races. The streets will reopen at about 11 a.m.
On Sunday, June 28, Prince Albert Road from Hawthorne Street to Sinclair Street will be closed from 5 a.m. to midnight for the triathlon and Iron Man competitions.
Residents are advised that there will be Special Event parking restrictions in place during these events and vehicles will be towed if necessary. For more information on Subaru EPIC Dartmouth, please visit http://epicdartmouth.com/.
