Road Construction – Cole Harbour Road & Forest Hills Parkway

Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that weather permitting, crews will be doing road construction in the intersection of Cole Harbour Road and Forest Hills Parkway this weekend.

Starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, and continuing until about 7 p.m., crews will be doing asphalt milling. On Sunday, Oct. 26, crews will be doing asphalt paving from 9 a.m. until about 7 p.m.

During this work the traffic signals will be shut down in the intersection and traffic control personnel will be in place. There will also be lane drops and stop-and-go traffic.

Motorists should expect long delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
