Robbery

Robbery was reported at Showtime Video, 2150 Windsor St. 8:24 pm. Lone
male entered the store produced a knife and demanded cash, male obtained
an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store. No injuries to the
clerk.  Suspect Description: white male, 25-30 years old, slim build,
6’0, clean shaven, wearing a black hooded jacket and black pants.
Integrated General Investigative Section continuing investigation.

Robbery

Needs Convenience store on 5771 Duffus St. Halifax was robbed by a lone
male at 8:37 pm. Male produced a knife and demanded cash, he fled with
an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries to store clerk.  Similar
description to previous robbery.  Investigators are investigating the
possibility both of these robberies are connected, because of the
suspect similarities.

At 9:45 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at 101
Yorkshire Ave, Dartmouth, Country View Inn and Suites. Two males
approached the clerk one with a knife and the second suspect had a
sensory irritant spray, the clerk was sprayed and the suspect removed an
undisclosed amount of cash from the till. The clerk was not injured.
Suspect Description: Suspect 1 ,hoodie covering face, white sneakers,
dark pants, 2nd suspect hoodie and mask covering face.

At 1240 am Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of male being
sprayed  with what is thought to be pepper spray out side a residence on
 the 6000 block of Chisholm Ave., Halifax. Male victim reported he was
sprayed by an unknown male, described as: white male, short, brown hair,
approx. 14 years old. Victim was treated by EHS.

Metro Transit bus rear-ended, male flees the scene
