Police have charged a man for a robbery that occurred in Dartmouth last night.
At approximately 6:25 p.m. police responded to robbery that had just occurred at the Circle K and Irving gas station located at 219 Pleasant Street. A man entered the store and demanded cash and cigarettes. The man left empty-handed and fled the area on foot.
Officers arrested the suspect a short distance from the store. Christopher Kahlil Abbass, 38, is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today to face charges of robbery and resisting arrest.
