Robbery at Clayton Park convenience store

Police are looking for a suspect after a popular Clayton Park store was robbed.

From HRPD:
Robbery: At 2:55 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery call
at Rick’s Variety store located at 278 Lacewood Dr in Halifax. A lone
male had entered the store with his face covered by a scarf, produced an
Exacto type of knife and demanded money. The suspect obtained a small
amount of cash and fled the area on foot. No one was injured during the
incident.
Suspect Description:  Male, 35 – 45 years of age, 5’4 to
5’6 in height, wearing a blue scarf over his face, black toque,
green winter jacket, dark jeans and black sneakers.
