Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at 8:47 this morning, at the Circle K Irving, 503 Old Sambro Road.

A female suspect entered the store and demanded cash from the male employee, an undisclosed amount of cash was taken and the suspect fled on foot. The employee was not injured. Subsequent investigation led police to a vehicle in the Fairview area, where two females have been arrested and are currently in police custody being interviewed. The investigation is still ongoing.
