Release:
At 10:49 p.m., Halifax Regional Police were dispatched to 5450 Inglis Street, Halifax, the Irving Gas Station, for a robbery in progress. Suspect indicated he had a firearm during the commission of the offence. No injuries.
Suspect described as a white male, believed to be 20-30 years old, 5’6″, black mask, black hoodie, and black pants. Suspect took cash from the till. Suspect was last seen leaving on foot. Unknown whether he continued on foot or left area in a vehicle. K9 dispatched to scene.
Multiple police units are currently assisting with scene containment and search of suspect.
